about

Breaking Cover is a recorded work presenting a collection of poems by Frances Lee which were inspired by animals. Readings by the poet are framed by a soundtrack created by Edward Lee, which includes harmonica contributions and vocals from Frances.
The situations described in the poems range from moments with pets to extreme exploitation. The collection is unified by its underlying theme - human beings’ relationship to the animal world, as it is and as it could be.

Notes on the items are available free as a bonus item.

The texts can be seen at Frances website: francesleepoems.co.uk
